BOSSIER CITY, LA – Funeral Services celebrating the life of Patricia Jane Burk Rape will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, Haughton, LA officiated by Pastor Kris Chenier of Trinity Heights Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held before the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Patricia was born December 5, 1940 in Blair County, PA and passed away on December 13, 2015. She was one of 11 children and was a twin of Patrick Burk. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and nanny. She was very loving and giving. She loved baking sweets for all who knew her and crocheting beautiful blankets, sweaters and dolls. Patricia loved GH and laughing daily with her best friend Harriet Thomas. Her greatest treasures in life were her children, grandchildren and her puppy Lulu.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Buford Rape. She is survived by daughter Glinda Teakell and husband Ray Paul; son, Thomas Rape and wife Melissa; stepdaughter Debbi Taft; daughter Mary Stachewicz; granddaughter, Sephanie Arant and husband Tim; granddaughter, Morgan Teakell; grandson Thomas Teakell and Samantha Halphen; Hayli Causey and husband Clayton; granddaughter, Lyndsi Willis; grandson, Randall Cobb, Jr (RJ) and great grandchildren, Jesse Arant, Joshlyn Willis and Camdon Causey.

Pallbearers will be Ray Paul Teakell, Thomas, Teakell, Kyle Davis, Cole Davis, Ryan Davis, Clayton Causey and RJ Cobb. Honorary Pallbearers are Sam Barlow, Tim Arant and Clyde Walker.

The family would like to offer a sincere appreciation to Dr. Ted Warren, Dr. Gerry San Pedro and the ER Staff of Willis-Knighton Bossier.
