BOSSIER CITY – A graveside service for Paul Warren Courtney, 69, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2016 at Rose-Neath Cemetery, Swan Lake Rd., Bossier City. Officiating will be Rev. Justin Haigler of The Simple Church. Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City.
Paul was born February 7, 1947 in Shreveport, LA to parents, Sam Warren and Dorothy G. Courtney. He passed away on December 15, 2016 from a sudden illness. Paul was a bookkeeper and office manager at Mitchell Construction.
Paul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sammye Courtney; daughter, Michele Courtney Love and granddaughters, Shelby Love and Aubrey Love, all of Bossier City, LA and a sister, Diane Sholar of Fort Collins, CO.
The family would like to express a very special thanks to the Bossier City Fire Department and the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office for their care and compassion.
