Peggy White
HAUGHTON, LA – Services celebrating the life of Peggy Joyce White, 83, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 with Rev. Billy Pierce officiating. Interment will follow at Fillmore Cemetery in Haughton. The family with be receiving friends on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Her greatest joy came from spending time with and caring for her family. Peggy had a special love for her grandchildren. She stayed very close to them throughout the years. She joined Facebook because it allowed her keep- up to date with her grandchildren and great-grandchild everyday. She learned to crochet at the age of 9 years old and continued all her life. She shared the gift of her talent with her family and friends. She was a very giving person always willing to help anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her first love and husband Edwin H. White Sr, daughters: Belinda and Donna White, Son: Edwin H. White Jr., great-granddaughter Alanna Michelle, one sister and 3 brothers.
Peggy is survived by her daughter Amanda White Pearson and husband William, grandchildren: Edwin H White III, David C. White, Raymond G. White, Kathleen M. Cavazos, Shawna R. Pearson, James W. Young, Stephanie A. Wisely, Stacey K. Pearson, Troy W. Polander, Nathan M. Pearson, and Alexis N. Pearson, 19 great-grandchildren, sister: Jeannie Sandmann, numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Edwin H. White III, Raymond G. White, Troy W. Polander, Nathan M. Pearson, James C. Young, Adom C. Cavazos and honorary pallbearer, David C. White.
