BOSSIER CITY – Rev. Mae Bradley Jordan, 96, went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2015. Mae was born in Natchitoches Parish, LA on June 21, 1919 to William W. and Gladys Mae Bradley. She was a retired minister and member of the Church at Benton.
Rev. Jordan was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Lonnie G. Jordan; two sons, Cecil “Dutch” Holland and Jimmy Lee Holland; parents; three brothers, Dewayne, Herbert and Houston Bradley.
She is survived by a host of friends she made so easily by her sweet smile and caring nature and family that most are related by the blood of Jesus Christ but loved no less.
Visitation will be Monday, October 12, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Church at Benton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the Church at Benton. Officiating will be Rev. Mack Brantley and Rev. W.D. “Dub” Peppers. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport.
