Bossier City, LA – A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Rogel Ross Mullins, 95, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Benton, officiated by Reverend Robert Beadle. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Rogel was born on December 1, 1922, in Sibley, LA to parents, John E. and Gwindoline H. Ross. She passed away peacefully at home on Friday morning, August 3rd.

Rogel was a graduate of Minden High School and a member of First Baptist Benton. She was truly the matriarch of the Mullins family. She enjoyed being a housewife and mother, always loving, giving, and caring. Rogel also loved tending to her flowerbeds and watching birds, red birds in particular, because they gave her comfort and reassured her that all was well.

Mrs. Mullins was preceded in death by her husband, Everette Lee Mullins, Sr.; son, Everette Lee Mullins, Jr.; sister, Yvonne David; brother, John E. Ross; and grandsons, Jeremy Mullins and Brett Crump.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Stanton Michael Mullins and wife Donna and Judy Pate and husband Boyce; daughter-inlaw, Anita Mullins; grandchildren, Jodie Shuff and husband David, Susan Brown and husband Mark, Patti Pate Thibadeaux and husband Brad, Jason Mullins and wife Katie, Joey Mullins and wife Condra, Danny Mullins and wife Teri, Kenneth Crump, Johnny Clark and wife Rhonda, and Erin Cuffaro and husband Chris; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Honoring Rogel as pallbearers are Jason, Joey, and Danny Mullins, Michael Iman, and Justin and Cody Brown.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Austin Gleason, Dr. Jane Savell, Dr. Le, Johnny Clark, Kenneth and Kyle Crump, Cole Ross Mullins, Landon Mullins, and David Shuff.
