Rose Pelletier Paddie
Bossier City, LA – Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Pelletier Paddie, 82, will be held at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 4700 Palmetto Rd, Benton, LA 71006, on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Visitation will begin at St. Jude’s for family and friends at 9:00 a.m. The funeral mass will immediately follow the visitation at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Hill Crest Memorial Park, Highway 80, Haughton, LA. A luncheon will follow the burial services at St. Jude’s.
Mrs. Paddie was born in New Brunswick, Canada and lived the life of a Military Wife. She raised 6 of her own children and 5 of her grandchildren. She was a Saint in the eyes of all her knew her.
Mrs. Paddie is survived by her daughters, Sandra A. Tedesco, Jacqueline Newbeck, Sharon Graham and son, Larry Paddie. She is also survived by the grandchildren she raised, Beth Jones, Mallory Paddie, Kacie Paddie, Corey Paddie and Brian Covington. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Pete Paddie; her son, Michael Paddie; daughter, Cheryl Paddie; and grandson, Robert Mehlberg.
Pallbearers will be John Russell Graham, Ron Graham, Nathan Anderson, Wade Jones, Corey Paddie and Nicholas Hogan.
A heartfelt thanks to Karen Kappen who cared for and loved our dear mother. Karen became a part of our family. Also, thanks to Southern Care Hospice and a special thanks to her son-in-law, Rusty Graham, for the special love and care her gave to her during the last six years.
