Obituary: SSgt. Aubrey Glenn Howard U.S.A.F. (Ret.)

BOSSIER CITY – A Mass of Christian Burial for Aubrey Glenn Howard, 85, will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. with Fr. Karl Daigle officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00p.m., at Hill Crest Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 21, 2015.

Aubrey was born on October 16, 1929 in Laurel Hill Florida to parents Jim and Oszey Howard and passed away on January 18, 2015 in Bossier City, Louisiana. Aubrey was a proud patriot serving his country during the Korean and Vietnam War in the United States Air Force. He retired with 22 years of service in 1970. After retirement he did not slow down, he opened his own auto repair shop. He could fix anything that you put in front of him. He was a faithful member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 10 brothers and sisters and grandson, Russell Rowe. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Fannie Howard; sons, Ricky Howard, Ronald Howard and Roy C. Rowe and wife Lynn; daughters, Debbie Howard and Lona Lockard; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Douglas Howard and family.
