BOSSIER CITY – Services celebrating the life of Thomas Goff Webb, Jr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bro. Calvin Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Tom went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, May 8, 2015. Mr. Webb was born December 17, 1928 in Wallace, West Virginia to Thomas Goff Webb, Sr. and Nellie Lee Paugh Webb. He was a devoted servant of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who was the most important person in his life. He was a faithful member of Barksdale Baptist Church and served there as a Deacon. Mr. Webb was also a combat veteran of the Vietnam War retiring from the United States Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant and Civil Service Maintenance Foreman from Barksdale AFB after 40 years of combined service.
He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Ann Turner Webb and sister Virginia Marie Webb Paugh Shaffer. He is survived by his wife Betty Ann Roberson Webb; two daughters Pamela (Njaal) Helle and Karen (Rick) Kimmel; step-daughter Susan Roberson Patterson; step-son Robbie Roberson; grandchildren Lauren (Greg) Enokian and Katie Kimmel; step-grandchildren Kenny Loftin, Sarah Loftin, Christina Joslyn, Savannah Edwards, Lisa Lozano and Rebecca Helle as well numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Robert Mahaffey, Leo Jones, Bobby Cubley, Kenny Loftin, Leroy Faith and Tommie Williams, Lt. Col (R) USAF. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Barksdale Baptist Church, Mike Lewis, Sonny DePrang and William “Bill” Smiley.
