Obituary: Tina Raye Wade Burnham

BOSSIER CITY – Services for Tina Raye Burnham will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bryan Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the chapel. 

Tina was born to Robert and Georgia Wade on June 30, 1960 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on August 4, 2017 in Bossier City. Tina was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 30, 1960. She graduated from Airline HS in 1978. 

Tina married Jim (James) Burnham on December 31, 1980 and they were married for 36 years. 

Tina’s children and grandchildren were everything to her. She dedicated the last 12 years of her life to caring for their grandchildren on a daily basis. Prior to life with grandchildren, Tina worked as an Office Manager for 7 years with Dr. Quynh Dang. She was very proud to be of assistance to Dr. Dang as she started her first medical practice out of residency. For the 10 preceding years she worked for manufacturer, Thompson Industries and enjoyed being a crucial part of their team. Tina enjoyed gardening, music and studying her Bible, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a spiritual woman who loved the Lord with all her heart and wanted to share the Word of God with everyone she talked to. For many years she and Jim enjoyed feeding and loving the homeless in the local area. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wade, father-in-law, Cliff Carroll Burnham, Sr., mother-in-law, Marguerite Martinez Burnham and son-in-law, Jason Porter. Tina is survived by her husband, Jim Burnham; daughter, Amanda Porter; son, Cody Burnham and wife Brianne; grandchildren, Adam and Nathan Porter, Presley Burnham, Jackson and Saylor Porter and Kingston, Harper and Blakely Burnham. 

Pallbearers will be Bobby Anglin, Jr., Jay Barnett, Jimmy Burton, Bob Goza, Patrick Goza, James Ray, Paul St. Claire, Jeff Tripp, and Joshua Waguespack. Honorary Pallbearers are Russell Guillory and Jerry Perry.
