Varrie Carter Player
Benton, LA – Celebration of life services for Mrs. Varrie Carter Player, 98, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Greater New Zion B.C., 421 Oak Ridge Dr. Pastor Brady L. Blade, officiating. Interment will follow at New Light Cemetery. Open visitation will be Friday at Heavenly Gates.
Mrs. Player entered into eternal rest on April 17, 2018 after a brief illness.
She is survived by her husband; Lawrence Player Sr., children; Melvin Player, Anna Player, Richard Player, Lawrence Player, Jr., Dorothy Ford, Flora Player, Pastor Oscar Player and Barbara Player, sisters, brother, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
