HAUGHTON – Veronica J. Dutch Dunn, 102, of Haughton, LA passed away on September 9, 2014. .
She was born in Conifer, PA to the late John and Anna Dutch.
Veronica was a strong, sassy, independent woman that worked hard her entire life. She lived in Las Vegas for 25 years working as a telephone operator. She loved Las Vegas, the shows, and bingo!!
Veronica is survived by two children; Susan Wright, & Leland Dunn; grandchildren Jamie Jett, Jackie Jett-Milam & husband Terry, Arnie McCollister, Linda McCollister, Kelly Moore, & Daniel Wright; and a host of great & great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John Dutch; sisters, Anna Batchelor, Mary Warren, Joanna Gushard, Elizabeth O’Day, & Evelyn Getty; a daughter, Janet Jett & her husband Jerry Jett.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2014, at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 12:15 p.m. prior to the service.
