Virginia Ann (Parker) Headrick
A memorial service celebrating the life of Virginia Ann Parker Headrick was held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Barry Headrick officiating. Visitation was held at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Virginia was born on January 16, 1949 in Henderson, TX to Earlton Hubert Parker and Odie Belle Jordan Parker. She passed away on January 12, 2018 in Shreveport, LA.
She is preceded in death by her parents Earlton and Odie Belle Parker; and her brother Reginald Roebuck. She is survived by her brother, Spencer Parker of Crockett, AR; her son, John Dunson and wife Amber, of Haughton, LA; her daughter, Nicole Cramer and husband Jason of Fishers, IN; and five grandchildren, Jessica, Alyvia, Gavin, Emily and Kason.
Virginia was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She was a devoted mother and loved her children and grandchildren deeply. She spent her life and enjoyed serving others as a registered nurse until her retirement in 2000.
