Whitmel Thomas (Tom) White Jr.
Whitmel Thomas (Tom) White Jr., 65, went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 9, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Bossier Parish. He was born in Shreveport. He graduated from Airline High School in 1968 and Louisiana Tech University in 1974. Tom retired from the Bossier City Fire Department after serving 23 years and then worked for a good friend at Cochran Construction for numerous years.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at First United Methodist Church at 201 John Wesley Blvd in Bossier City with Pastor David Dietzel officiating. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:00am.
Tom was predeceased by his parents: Whitmel T. White and Sue Myers White; uncles, Archie Roland Myers, William Jackson Myers, Jr. and aunt, Elsie Pearl Moreland He is survived by his wife Janice Melton White, son Robert David White, granddaughter, Skyler Lee White, sisters, Suellyn White Knowles and husband, Thomas, Marsha White Garred and husband, Larry and numerous nieces.
