William H. Hughart
Haughton, LA – Charles and Clare Pence Hughart welcomed William Herman into this world on March 29, 1934 in Lewisport, KY. “Wild Bill,” as he was known, was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
From 17 years of age, he worked most of his life in construction and manufacturing, even rising to union representative before he retired at the age of 63. However, retirement didn’t mean that he would slow down. He then bought a farm and loved every minute he spent keeping it going.
Mr. Hughart passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the age of 84.
Preceding Bill in death are his parents; one daughter, Karen Martensen; and one grandson, Casey Beavers.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Dorothy Ellen Powers Beavers Hughart; sons, Charles Steven Hughart, Jeffrey Allen Hughart, Michel William Hughart, Lloyd Beavers, Allen Beavers, and Kenny Hughart; daughters, Kathy Roberts (Randy) and Jaqueline Hughart; grandchildren, Stephen, Charlie, Rick, Karla, Lindsey, Billy and Brandon; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.
