William Dustin Meador
Haughton, LA – Celebration of life services for William Dustin Meador, 47, were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 at First Baptist Haughton in the Sanctuary, with Dr. Gevan Spinney officiating. Interment followed at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family was held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at First Baptist Haughton, prior to services. Jeans and camo are welcome for his celebration of life.
Dustin was born on December 20, 1970 in Shreveport, LA to William Douglas and Debora Kay Meador and passed away on October 15, 2018 at 1:50 a. m. at Lifecare in Shreveport, LA following a long term illness. He was a resident of Haughton, LA.
He worked for 17 years at FedEx in Shreveport. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He held the low score on the back 9 of Ironwood Golf Club in Gainesville, FL. He was a self taught scratch golfer. He was proud to have been on the Emerald Coast Amateur Tour.
He was preceded in death by his father William Douglas Meador. He is survived by his beloved wife Lisle Marie Bergmann Meador and their cherished daughter Abigail Mae Meador.
He is also survived by his mother Debora Kay Hallmark Meador, sister Heather Lea Meador Larramendi, brothers in law Al and Matt, sister in law Melinda, mother in law Verna Bergmann, aunts Janis, Donna, and Deadra, nieces Laurel and Hannah, nephews Andrew and Chris, cousins Holly, Lacey, Sara, Erin, Kinsey, Colin, Christy, Amy, and Jon, cat Bella, and dog Charlie Bo.
