Zona was a member of Bellaire Baptist Church. She lived out her faith as a doer, always doing something for someone.

She worked for and served her family as long as she was able. She served others, visiting “old” ladies, some of whom were older than she.

A Celebration of life will be held in the Memorial Chapel at Broadmor Baptist Church at 10:00 am Friday, May 4, 2018. Visitation will precede the service at 9:00 am. Dr. Tom Harrison will be officiating the services. A private burial will follow at Centuries Memorial Park in Shreveport.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Winston, Jason Kilpatrick, JD Collinsworth, Ricky Gilbert, Buck Lindsay, Lee Copeland, Charles Thompson and Ken Odom. Zona’s last few years were spent at Colonial Oaks Residential Facility in Bossier City.

The family appreciates the care and concern shown by Nurse Felicia Burns and the entire staff at Colonial Oaks.

In lieu of flowers, Zona would love you to donate to the Shreveport Bossier Rescue Mission or the local Salvation Army.
