The Office of State Fire Marshal welcomes Ken Pastorick, the agency’s new Director of Public Affairs.
“I’m excited about having Ken as part of our team, he brings a tremendous amount of public relations and media experience to the Office of State Fire Marshal,” said Bryan Adams, Fire Marshal, Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal.
Pastorick has 18 years of public relations experience in Louisiana State government. Prior to coming to the Office of State Fire Marshal, Pastorick worked for eight and a half years as communications director for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety & Corrections, and seven years as public information officer at the Louisiana Department of Health. He has also served as press secretary for the Louisiana Department of Education. Before working in state government, Pastorick was an award winning television journalist for 18 years.
“I look forward to using my experience to promote this agency’s life-saving initiatives and keeping the public informed about fire safety,” said Pastorick.
Pastorick is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is a Southeastern Louisiana University graduate.
