The crash happened at approximately 3 AM today in front of the Northwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in the 3100 block of Arthur Ray Teague Parkway. The  30-year-old driver of a 1994 Ford F150 pick up truck heading northbound on the parkway lost control of the vehicle causing it to veer off the road, crash into the sign in front of the veterans home and rollover.

Personnel with the Bossier City Fire Department had to extricate the driver from the vehicle. He was airlifted via Life Air helicopter to University Health in Shreveport.

The name of the driver is being withheld at this time pending notification of his family. Police were able to keep traffic flowing on the parkway open while they investigated the crash.
