
Airline, Parkway students advance to competition in Lafayette
The Optimist Club of Bossier City held its annual oratorical contest March 2nd.
A panel of three judged the local students’ speeches based on content and presentation to determine the top winners. This year’s contest was based on the theme, “How My Best Brings Out the Best in Others.”
First place winners were Jada Holmes from Airline High School and Cole Billiot from Parkway High School. These students will now advance to the next leveled competition April 9 in Lafayette.

Girls Division
1st – Jada Holmes, Airline HS
