Parish Little League, Dixie teams to begin quests for state titles

Four Bossier Parish Little League and Dixie baseball and softball teams begin their quests for state titles Friday.
The Bossier 11-12 All-Stars open defense of their state softball title with a 6 p.m. first-round game in New Iberia. Bossier also has a representative in the 12-14 Little League Junior State Tournament in Vidalia.
In Dixie Baseball, the Bossier All-Stars open play in the 9 AAA state tournament in Ponchatoula.
The Haughton All-Stars face the Jackson Parish All-Stars at 6 p.m. on the first day of Pool A play in the 11-under O-Zone State Tournament at the Shreveport Dixie Complex. Eight teams are competing.
Members of the Bossier 9 AAA Dixie Baseball All-Stars include Chase Rambin, Clayton Brandon, Kenner Lauterbach, Zach Schoenborn, Eli Harper, Riley Sitter, Wesley Gardner, Noah Mc-Williams, Conner Stevens, Collin Wiggins, Gibson Harvill and Barrett Newman.
Members of the Bossier 11-12 Little League Softball All-Stars include Brooklyn Brandon (Cope), Makenzie Chaffin (Benton Middle), Caroline Easom (Greenacres), Madison Ennis (Greenacres), Kourtnee White (Greenacres), Lexi Gray (Benton Middle), Raelin Chaffin (Benton Middle), Reagan Jorstad (Cope), Jessie Baffuto (Greenacres), Regan Thompson (Evangel), Em Murray (Southfield) and Hannah Borah (Haughton).
