Bossier Parish schools swept the individual honors on the All-District 1, Division II girls soccer team.
Parkway senior Sara Funderburk was named the Overall MVP, Parkway junior Mackenzie Kleinpeter the Offensive MVP and Benton junior Shayla Lee the Defensive MVP.
Funderburk, an LSU signee, was second in Northwest Louisiana with 38 goals. She led the area with 30 assists.
Kleinpeter led the area with 51 goals in the regular season. She also had 17 assists.
Parkway, which won the district championship and reached the semifinals of the playoffs, placed four other players on the first team — senior Miranda Scotten (center mid), senior Alex Mitchell (defender), sophomore Ashlyn Hanna (defender) and junior goalkeeper Madelyn Elliott.
Scotten was second in the area in assists with 21. She also scored 17 goals.
Mitchell, Hanna and Elliott helped Parkway roll through its district schedule without allowing a goal.
District runner-up Benton placed four players on the first team — sophomore Hailey McGhee (forward), sophomore Braylin Shaffer (outside mid/wing), sophomore Breanna Bundy (center/mid) and junior Lynsee Terhune (defender).
Bundy and McGhee led Benton during the regular season with 20 goals each. Shaffer had 13.
Haughton sophomore Lauren Tompkins (defender) also made the first team.
Parkway’s second-team selections were freshman Aubrey Burkhardt (center mid) and senior Baylee Spencer (defender).
Benton’s Signe’ Sandstrom (outside mid/wing), Haughton freshman Shelby Watson (forward) and Haughton junior Ciara White (center mid) made the second team.
Parkway’s honorable mention selections were Morgan Provost and Kayce Estes. Benton’s honorable mention selections were Abby Lauterbach, Skylar Roberson, Georgia Carroway and Annalee Ward.
Haughton’s honorable mention selections were Lauren Brooks, Gene Leist, Parker McClung and Tiffani Clair.
