Parkway’s Alison Ringle and Hayden Kingfisher earned All-America honors with their performances at the USA Track & Field National Junior Olympic Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
Ringle, a rising senior, finished third in the 17-18 women’s 3,000-meter run Friday. The reigning Class 5A state champion in the 3,200, Ringle ran a 10:38.05. Katie Lembro of Rochester, N.Y., won in 9:49.47.
Ringle also finished sixth in the 17-18 1,500 in 4:51.01 Sunday.
Kingfisher, a rising junior, finished sixth in the 15-16 boys in 4:07.58, about seven seconds behind winner Thomas Pollard of Gilbert, Iowa.
