Host Parkway swept the Ark-La-Tex Border Dash team and individual titles Saturday morning at South Bossier Park.
Parkway placed five runners in the top 11 in the 13-team boys’ division, scoring 22 points. Ruston Cedar Creek finished second with 76 and Benton third with 115.
Parkway’s Cole Billiot and Jacob Hammons finished 1-2. Billiot covered the 3-mile flat course in 15 minutes, 29 seconds. Hammons finished 3 seconds back.
Cameron Rogers was fourth in 15:52, CJ Morgan ninth in 16:26 and Brencen Delacruz 11th in 16:51.
Parkway scored a near-perfect 18 points in the girls’ division. Runner-up Cedar Creek had 89.
Defending Class 5A state cham Sara Funderburk easily won the individual title in 17:47, a personal record and the fastest time in the state this year. Lakeside’s Alissa Landers was second in 18:27.
Parkway’s Celeste Cordova was third in 18:58, Cassidy Cummings fifth in 19:31, Mackenzie Langen sixth in 20:19, Rylie McConnell seventh in 20:29 and Lindsey Hutcheson eighth in 16:43.
Parkway had five other runners finish in the boys’ top 25 — Andrew Robinson (13th, 17:13), Tyler Kruithof (15th, 17:24), Christian Nevins (17th, 17:30), Steven Sarvis (21st, 17:44) and Jacob Langen (17:48).
Benton had two top-25 finishers —Tayden McGuire (23rd, 17:51) and Taylor King (25th, 18:01). Haughton’s top finisher was Hunter Allen (26th, 18:06).
Parkway had four other top-25 finishers in the girls’ division — Carly Hanson (11th, 21:35), Victoria Morris (20th, 22:33), Madison Brogan (23rd, 23:05) and Ulissa Noguez (25th, 23:22).
Jenna Keys was Benton’s top runner (ninth, 21:16).
