Parkway’s Harris signs with LSU

Parkway quarterback Brandon Harris signs with LSU Thursday in the school library. The official letter-of-intent signing day for football players is the first Wednesday in February. Under a new NCAA rule, players graduating in December can sign an institutional Financial Aid Agreement early. The agreement is binding for LSU, meaning they are now required to give Harris financial aid. But Harris could still change his mind. Since committing in July, Harris has repeatedly said he is with LSU all the way. Harris thanked his coaches, teammates and Parkway principal Dr. Nichole Bourgeois Thursday. ā€œIā€™m happy to officially be an LSU Tiger now,ā€ he said.
