Patricia Irene Kinney
Bossier City, LA – Patricia Irene Kinney, 83, of Bossier City, LA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 after a long illness.
Patricia was born Saturday, June 20, 1936 in Bellingham, WA to the proud parents of Arthur and Irene Key Brown. Mrs. Kinney was of the Presbyterian faith . She also had the love and expert skill of growing the beautiful flower Iris. Patricia truly had the green thumb when it came to growing these beautiful flowers.
Her passion for the love of horses drove her to complete in many rodeo events that she excelled in. In 1952 she was voted the Rodeo Queen of Washington State. Her love of equine continued for many years in her life.
Mrs. Kinney was preceded in death by husband of 45 years, Albert Kinney who passed away in 2003.
Left to cherish her sweet memory is her daughter Amy and her loving husband, John Lythgoe of Bossier City, LA.
A memorial service in her honor was held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday February 8, 2020 at Rose~Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, Louisiana.
