The 17th annual Krewe of Barkus and Meoux Mardi Gras parade for pets was held at 2000 Reeves Marine Dr., Bossier City, Sunday. The parade theme for 2015 is “Bone Appétit” and the pet serving as 2015 Grand Marshal is Braveheart, a pit bull with an inspiring story of recovery following abuse and neglect.
