Educators from Red River United, representing teachers and school employees in Caddo, Bossier and Red River Parishes, sent a delegation to the Louisiana Federation of Teachers’ 50th annual convention, held November 23-35 at the Marriott Hotel in New Orleans. RRU was recognized as the fastest growing local chapter of the LFT. On November 10, Airline High School Criminal Justice and Business Law students attended the Bossier Teen Court.  Proceedings are held monthly at the Bossier City Court House. Pictured above from Left to Right front row are: Criminal Justice teacher Karol Bryant; student jurors Emily Miller, Kayla Burns, Keyenna Brown, Braden Herring, and Business Law Teacher Melissa Hall.  Back row from left to right: Chad Hamilton, Patrick Brown, Matt Barker, Kain Fuller, and Jacob Gregory. Patrick Brown and Matt Barker served as attorneys for the cases in the main court room.


The Airline Troubadours recently had the honor of performing with the Centenary College Choir in the 66th annual “Rhapsody in View,”  being the first high school choir to receive the honor of performing with the Centenary choir in this prestigious concert. The Airline Troubadours are under the direction of Mrs. Amy Wakefield.
