Celebrate Veterans Day with a gift to the land we love! Keep Bossier Beautiful is partnering with
the Arbor Day Foundation to distribute 500 trees in an ongoing effort to replenish the region’s
tree canopy which has been impacted year-after-year from storms and construction. In honor
of Veterans Day and in anticipation of the country’s 250th birthday next year, 12×18” American
flags will also be given away.
Trees are vital to Louisiana’s environment, economy, and quality of life. They improve air and
water quality, mitigate climate change, and provide habitat for wildlife. Additionally, trees
contribute to community well-being through beautification, recreational opportunities, and
even mental health benefits.
