Police arrest woman in traffic incident that leads to shooting

Bossier City police arrested a suspect Saturday afternoon in a shooting that left a woman hospitalized with a gunshot wound.

Detectives with BCPD’s Violent Crimes Unit arrested Adriahna Rosetta Huley, 22, of Bossier City, on a charge of aggravated second degree battery.

The incident began when Huley and the victim, Detrice Anastasias Mullone, 29, of Shreveport, allegedly engaged in an altercation in front of a residence in the 2400 block of Cherry Street.

Police responded at approximately 11:45 a.m. in regard to a shots fired call which was later changed to a shooting. Huley reportedly then fled the scene with Mullone following when Mullone reportedly rear ended Huley’s vehicle, causing it to rear end a van near the intersection of Village Lane and Airline Drive. Mullone then drove off in an attempt to get to a hospital.

Police arrived on the scene of the wreck and took Huley into custody. A short time later Shreveport police made contact with Mullone in her vehicle on the Texas Street Bridge.

The victim was taken to University Health in Shreveport. He wound is described as non-life threatening.   

Bossier City detectives are continuing the investigation.
