Foundation poured at Tall Timbers park

PJ Briefs CONCRETE FINISHING AT TTThe sign tells visitors they’re at the Bossier Parish War & Space Veterans Memorial Park near Tall Timbers on U.S. Hwy. 80. All the construction activity lets folks know a much-needed addition to the family complex is underway.

Contractors have poured concrete for the foundation of a public restroom facility at the park and construction should begin shortly. The new facility will help make the parish’s most heavily used park more attractive.

Parish accepting resumes for new Registrar of Voters

The Police Jury is currently accepting resumes for the position of Registrar of Voters.
The Registrar of Voters is responsible for registering voters and maintaining voter polls, conducting Early Voting and Early Voting election returns in the Registrar’s Office and approving and building the poll list for all Bossier Parish precincts. The Registrar must be registered in the parish in which he/she resides and must remain non-political in order to maintain the integrity of the election process and the trust of the voters and candidates.
