The Bossier Lady Kats won the Green Oaks Thanksgiving Classic with a 45-33 victory over the Parkway Lady Panthers on Wednesday at Green Oaks.
Necka Wynn led the Lady Kats (4-1) with 11 points, and Tia Walker added nine.
Destiny Thomas was named the tournament MVP. Brittany Wallace made the all-tournament team.
Parkway fell to 3-2. Statistics weren’t reported to The Press-Tribune.
Meanwhile, the Bossier boys defeated HL Bourgeois 65-61 in overtime on Wednesdayin the Natchitoches City of Lights tournament. The Bearkats (2-2) won two out of three in the three-day event.
Larry Robinson led the way with 25 points. Antonio Davis added 14. Quantavious Capers and Donnell Mason contributed to the victory with their defensive play, coaches said.
Bossier is playing in the Paul Millsap Classic at 7:30 p.m. Saturday against Ouachita Parish.
