The Parkway Lady Panthers won the Gator Cup soccer tournament on Saturday.

Parkway defeated Pineville 5-0 in the championship game after knocking off Caddo Magnet 1-0 in the semifinals.

Sara Funderburk, the MVP on The Press-Tribune’s All-Parish team last spring, scored three goals against Pineville.

Madelyn Elliott and Mackenzie Kleinpeter had one goal each. Miranda Scotten had three assists.

Kleinpeter scored the lone goal against Magnet off an assist from Aubrey Burkhardt.

Scotten, who had three goals and seven assists in the tournament, was named MVP. She was cited for both her offensive and defensive play, coach Bonnie Matak said.
