Prostitution arrests made in Bossier as part of nationwide FBI operation


A nationwide operation by the FBI has led to arrests in Bossier City.

The operation aimed to combat child sex trafficking. Approximately 167 children who were being victimized through prostitution were recovered, including three in Louisiana.

The operation included six cities throughout Louisiana where 16 pimps and 75 prostitutes were  arrested.

In all, 260 pimps were arrested in 106 cities across 37 states. Law enforcement officials also seized four vehicles, cash, cell phones, heroin, methadone, marijuana and other narcotics.
