The Bossier City Quota Club’s 2016 Christmas Tour of Homes will be a special one as the club will celebrate its 25th anniversary.
“The Quota Club thanks all the homeowners of the past and present for helping our club with this annual event. This annual event has enabled our club to pursue their goal of service to our local community and support the Quota International goals at home and abroad,” said pPresident of Quota International of Bossier City Marlene Harner via email.
Slated for December 4, this year’s event will see attendees visit five homes across Bossier Parish.
The homes are:
- Ken & Elizabeth Lowery, 5471 Modica Lott Road
- Leo & Debbie Stevens, 323 Hunters hollow, (Lakewood Subdivision)
- Jack & Edra Campbell 5015 Willow Chase, (Woodlake South)
- Don & Hedy Hebert 4816 Woodberry Lane, (Woodlake South)
- Jerry & Linda Hayes 324 Tanyard Trace, (Kingston Plantation)
Tickets are $20. and will be attached to a program which includes a map, along with pictures and descriptions of the homes. You may purchase your tickets in advance or at any of the homes the day of the tour.
The homeowner and ticket holders have shared in the giving of up to eight $1,000 scholarships each year to students in their master’s program at LSU Health and Science- Molly Webb speech and hearing facility, the Bossier Sheriff’s Operation Blessing program, birthday books for children in Bossier Parish Schools, equipment and supplies to students in the deaf and hard of hearing classes, Bossier Council on Aging, CADA, Great- an equine assisted therapies program associated with the ARC, and many other community needs.
When visiting these homes, attendees will have the ability to purchase raffle tickets for a basket full of treats. The raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Winners do not have to be present.
