27 th Annual Wayne Curtis Objets D’Art Fundraiser
Friday, February 14, 2025 / 6 – 9 pm
The Supper Club, Shreveport, Louisiana
The Objets D’Art Fundraiser was championed by the late Wayne Curtis and is named in his honor. Raising
money for the pool of artist jury awards at the annual Red River Revel Arts Festival, Objets D’Art is an intimate
and delightful event for those looking for a special Valentine’s Day dinner experience. Guests can expect a
finely crafted catered menu and fully stocked bar, where packages of visual art by Revel artists are on display
for selection. Each ticket grants admission for two guests and one art selection. Guests will drop their ticket
with the host, who will draw the names at random and allow the selected guest to choose from any of the
available art packages. Once all guests have drawn, any remaining packages will be redrawn from the entire
pool of attendees. Each couple is guaranteed an art package worth a minimum of $100, tickets go on sale the
first week of January.
CORK #19: A Red River Revel Fundraiser
Saturday, April 5, 2025 / 2 – 5 pm
Festival Plaza, Shreveport, Louisiana
CORK was created in 2005 as a fundraising event benefiting the Red River Revel Arts Festival. The annual event
attracts over 1,350 wine enthusiasts and revelers to Festival Plaza for an afternoon of wine, music, art, food,
and fun with the star of the event being the wine. The event features multiple wine booths pouring 90+
quality wine varieties from a carefully curated list including reds, whites, sparkling, sweets, and rosés. In
addition to the wine tastings, guests will enjoy bite-size food portions from local restaurateurs, live music, a
chance to win raffle items, and a Thrifty Liquor special pop-up store to purchase bottles of their favorite wine
tastings. CORK #19 returns to Festival Plaza on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.
Shreveport Farmers’ Market
Saturdays, May 31 – August 23, 2025 / 7:30 am – 12:30 pm

The award-winning Shreveport Farmers’ Market returns for the 39 th consecutive summer season with
bountiful weekly markets starting May 31 st through August 23 rd from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Saturday at
Festival Plaza. The Shreveport Farmers’ Market has over 75 vendors that sell a variety of homegrown and
homemade items such as fruits, vegetables, herbs, plants, honey, breads, jams, jellies, pastries, candies,
pickles, cheeses, shrimp, various canned goods, seasonings, sauces, and meats. In addition to the variety of
foods, there will be local artisans with handcrafted items such as art, jewelry, crafts, candles, soaps, and dog
treats. Prepared breakfast and lunch meals will be available for purchase and consumption. The Shreveport
Farmers’ Market is the only USDA-Approved farmers’ market in the Shreveport-Bossier community, which
allows shoppers with a Louisiana Purchase (SNAP) card to utilize their benefits for fresh and nutritious local
produce, in addition to receiving a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $20 in purchases at the Shreveport
Farmers’ Market from our partners Louisiana Healthcare Connections and Greaux the Good. Through these
partnerships, the Red River Revel helps boost the local economy by supporting local farmers, ranchers, and
artisans. The Shreveport Farmers’ Market is free to attend.
49 th Annual Red River Revel Arts Festival
Thursday, September 25 – Sunday, September 28, 2025, and Thursday, October 2 – Sunday, October 5, 2025

Since 1976, the Red River Revel has brought the highest quality in visual and performing arts through its
annual Red River Revel Arts Festival. This “Celebration of the Arts” will feature a new format in 2025, focusing
on two consecutive weekends. The first weekend opens at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 25 th and
continues daily through Sunday, September 28 th . Closing Monday through Wednesday, the festival will reopen
at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 2 nd and close out its second weekend on Sunday evening, October 5 th .
The annual arts festival encompasses quality in visual and performing arts, seminars, workshops, children’s
arts education, and a variety of creative experiences. In addition, the Red River Revel partners with local
nonprofits that offer food options to raise funds by showcasing the unique blend of culturally inspired flavors
of the area and beyond. Each year during the festival, thousands of area 4 th grade students spend the school
day at the Red River Revel learning about and participating in arts education programs. Local, regional, and
national musical acts perform on four stages during the event. Approximately 60,000 visitors from all over the
country visit the Red River Revel Arts Festival each year to celebrate art, music, food, and family fun!
