A Shreveport man has been arrested for burglary in Bossier Parish.
Gardarius D. Williams, 19, of the 2900 block of Darien St. in Shreveport, was charged with one count of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and was booked Thursday into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility with a bond set at $150,000.
The arrest resulted when a Bossier Parish patrol deputy observed a vehicle matching a description given by witnesses in connection to the recent home burglaries in the Benton and Haughton area. The deputy made the traffic stop and observed a TV set with cut wires in the vehicle. After further investigation, the deputy arrested, Williams, the driver of the vehicle.
Detectives with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office are still investigating leads and expect to add additional charges to Williams in connection to other burglaries in the Benton and Haughton area.
