This road closure is scheduled to be in place through Wednesday, October 28, 2026, and is necessary to allow crews with the RR company to perform repairs to the tracks, and for DOTD crews to pave the roadway approaches to the crossing.

This crossing is located 0.2 miles east of the intersection with LA 3. (see included map)

Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.

Alternate Route: Motorists may detour using LA 3, LA 160 and LA 157. Appropriate detour signage will be in place.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
