The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Sunday, April 29, the Arkansas Dept. of Transportation (ArDOT) will be closing AR Hwy. 29 (LA Hwy. 3 in Bossier Parish) near the state line for repairs to the Union Pacific Railroad crossing in Arkansas.

This work is scheduled to take place from approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Advanced warning and detour signs will be placed by ArDOT along LA 3 in Bossier Parish.

The alternate route for motorists is LA Hwy. 2 and LA Hwy. 157.

DOTD appreciates drivers’ patience and reminds them to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
