BOSSIER CITY, LA-Funeral services for Robert H. Stockton, 82, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Calvin Hubbard. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Spring Ridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, LA. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday September 13, 2013 at the funeral home.
Bob was born on April 13, 1931 in Pleasant Hill, LA to John and Lala Dee Stockton and passed away on September 11, 2013 in Bossier City. He was a retired land surveyor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching LSU Baseball and golf with Tiger Woods.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Betty Stockton. He is survived by his son, Rob Stockton and wife, Robin; daughters, Vicki DeYoung and husband, Steve and Phyllis Cooper; grandchildren, Heather, Melissa, Seth, Josh, Jon, and Katie; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold Stockton and wife, Ann, Doyle Stockton and wife, Cevil.
Pallbearers will be Seth Stockton, Josh Stockton, Jon Stockton, Gene Stockton, Lonnie Stockton, Mickey Stockton and Brian Wyatt.
