BOSSIER CITY – Robert Joseph Hall Sr. went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on February 17, 2014. Welcoming him in Heaven are his father and mother, Willie Monroe and Lois Hall, his son Robert Joseph Hall, Jr., and his daughter, Dawn Ellis. A memorial to give God glory and to celebrate Bob’s life will be Friday, February 21, at 4:30 pm at Asbury UM Church in Bossier. A reception will follow at the Willow Lake clubhouse in Bossier so we can share some Bob stories and continue the celebration of his life.
Bob was born in 1935 in Alexandria and was a ’54 graduate of Fair Park. After a short visit to La Tech, he served in the National Guard and started work at Libby Owens Ford, before beginning a very successful aviation career with a flight school and Charter service. He enjoyed restoring Mustangs and T-Birds and opened a body shop. He recently helped in the management of the Willow Lake Community. He touched many lives and left many smiles along his journey. But Bob is remembered most for his love of life, his smile, his baby blues, his many travels, the houseboat at Camp Joy, and years at the hunting lease.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Marsha, his sister Sandra and Anthony Vaccaro, his son David and Renee’, granddaughters, Kate and Houston Johnson, Rachel and Joseph Welton and Kristina Hall; his daughter Robin and Mark Mahoney, grandsons, Brandon Miles, Brian and Amy Miles, and great grand kids here and on the way, and many friends and relatives.
