BOSSIER CITY – A memorial service for Robert L. Anderson, Jr., 75, will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Rose-Neath’s Bossier Chapel with Air Force Honors. Officiating will be Chaplain Keith Rowe. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Robert was born in Lubbock, TX on September 29, 1938 to Robert L. Anderson, Sr. and Sybil Oldham Anderson and died March 23, 2014 in Bossier City, LA. Robert served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired Captain. After retirement, he worked as a computer programmer/analyst. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

His parents precede him in death.

Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha Sue Carlile Anderson of Bossier City, LA; sons, Robert L. Anderson, III and wife Melody of West Monroe, LA, Mark T. Anderson and wife Ali of Baton Rouge, LA, Steven L. Anderson and wife Jennifer of Bishop, GA; daughter, Suzanne Anderson Barnette and husband Bobby of Bossier City, LA; 16 grandchildren; one great grandson and brothers, Jimmy D. Anderson of Greenwood, LA and Rocky W. Anderson of Leander, TX.

The family requests memorials to Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
