Robertson family to be involved in I-Bowl Game Day festivities

Missy Robertson will sing the National Anthem prior to kickoff of the 2014 Duck Commander Independence Bowl, presented by CenturyLink.

Missy sang the National Anthem at the 2014 Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway in April.

Joining Missy in the pregame festivities, Uncle Si Robertson will be involved with the coin toss.

Following the game, Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson will present the trophy to the winning team.

A fireworks show will be held at the conclusion of the game. The fireworks show will take place adjacent to Independence Stadium and will begin immediately following the game.

Durr’s Pyromania Fireworks, from the Shreveport-Bossier City area, will put on the show. Sponsors for the fireworks show include Calumet Specialty Products, BelRay Total Performance Lubricants, Royal Purple Synthetic Oil, Morehead Pools, Huggs Companies and the UPS Store.

The Duck Commander Independence Bowl, which pits South Carolina against Miami, is Saturday, Dec. 27, at 2:30 p.m.
