BOSSIER CITY – Funeral services for Rodney Coleman, 58, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Back. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2014 at the funeral home.
Rodney was born in Shreveport on October 12, 1955 to Willie and Dorothy Coleman. He passed away after a lengthy illness on January 22, 2014 in Bossier City. He was a retired general manager for a local car dealership and enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all, the times he spent with his daughter and granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Tony Ray Coleman. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Kady Elizabeth Coleman Bell and husband, Brian; granddaughter, Sophia Elizabeth Coleman; siblings, George Douglas Torrey and wife, Kathy, Willie Freeman Coleman, Jr. and wife, Connie and Meg Moreau.
Honoring Rodney as pallbearers will be Lee Campbell, Doug Torrey, Willie Coleman, Jr., Kenny Coleman, Keith David and Danny David.
