PLAIN DEALING – Services for Rogerio C. Garcia, 92, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at Rose-Neath’s Bossier Chapel. Officiating will Bro. Don Crook, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, Benton, LA. Interment will follow at Rocky Mount Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA.
Mr. Garcia was born August 13, 1921 in Corpus Christi, TX and died September 19, 2013 in Bossier City, LA. He was a retired truck driver for HEB.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Blass and Maria Garcia; wife of 62 years, Dora Garcia and grandsons, Leroy Herrera and Richard Garcia.
He is survived by a son, Sonny Garcia and wife Alice; daughters, Betty Herrera and Raymond R. Herrera, Dora “Sally” DeMoss and husband Jim; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren, friends and relatives.
Honoring Mr. Garcia as pallbearers will be Shane DeMoss, Zach Malone, Greg Malone, James DeMoss, Jr., Trey Narron and Matt Hines.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Heritage Manor Bossier and Southern Care Hospice for their loving and tender care.
