HAUGHTON, LA – Graveside services celebrating the life of Ruby Jean Lane will be conducted Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Hill Crest Memorial Park at 3:00 PM. Mrs. Lane attended Asbury United Methodist Church for many years. Reverend Ken Norton will officiate at the service. Visitation for friends and family will be Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 1:30 to 3:00 PM at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, in Haughton.
Mrs. Lane was born May 25, 1930, in Pelham, Georgia and went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2015. She was retired from the US Government Civil Service, and was a lifelong member of AFSA’s Women’s Auxiliary.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby Lodge, and her husband, William Earl Lane. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Robert Earl Lane, her daughter Cynthia Ann Schneider, Cynthia’s husband William Schneider, grandson Christopher Michael Gunderson, and two great-grandchildren, Cindel Marie Gunderson and Stryker Levi Gunderson.
