Garth Brooks returned to the Shreveport-Bossier area last weekend for the first time in 19 years. The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood broke the CenturyLink Center arena record, selling more than 25,000 tickets in just 49 minutes when ticket sales opened June 17. The previous record was held by the March 8, 2013, Winter Jam with 13,887 tickets sold.  Brooks performed three shows July 29-30 (one Friday night and two Saturday night) at the Bossier City arena.
