Sen. Vitter announces satellite office hours for Bossier residents

U.S. Senator David Vitter leads a town hall earlier this year.

U.S. Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) today announced satellite office hours for residents of Bossier.

Vitter will be represented by his staff and will not personally be in attendance. Office hours will be Tuesday, July 29 from 9-10 a.m. at Benton Town Hall,  105 Sibley St., Benton.

Vitter and his staff use satellite office hours in addition to his town hall meetings around the state to make it easier for his constituents to find help in dealing with federal agencies. Vitter said his staff has recently been hearing a higher volume of cases dealing with the Veterans Administration and encourages constituents to bring those concerns as well.

Residents are invited to attend these office hours and meet with a member of Vitter’s staff to voice any concern they have with any government agency. Constituents unable to attend these office hours can call the Northwest Louisiana office in Shreveport at (318) 861-0437 to speak to a member of the staff. The Shreveport office, located at 920 Pierremont Road Suite 113, is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
