Seven-year-old drowns in Cypress Lake

A seven-year-old Shreveport boy drown at Cypress Black Bayou Recreation Area in Benton Monday.

The victim was swimming with family and friends near the swimming area around the Marina at Cypress Lake.  Family and friends noticed the child was no longer visible and began to search.
