Political Announcement
Shane Cheatham will be announcing his candidacy for the 2021 election for Bossier City Council, District 1 on October 14th at the South Bossier Luncheon.
A lifelong resident of Bossier City, and a graduate of Parkway High School, Shane Cheatham is the proud husband of Samantha Cheatham, and father of Olivia Cheatham and Hunter Cheatham. Shane is a small business owner, Realtor®, former President of the Bossier Parish School Board, current member of the Bossier Parish School Board, and a member of the Bossier Parish Republican Executive Committee.
Shane believes Bossier City is a great place to live and raise a family, and he wants to see Bossier City and District #1 continue to grow and prosper. He also believes that it is time for fresh ideas and new faces in Bossier City. Shane would like to work together with other leaders to help make Bossier City a Prouder-Stronger-Better Bossier City.
The monthly South Bossier Luncheon will be held at the Bellaire South Complex located at 4330 Panther Drive, Bossier City, LA on Wednesday, October 14th at 12:00 PM. Cheatham will speak to the lunch group about his campaign and his ideas for a Prouder-Stronger-Better Bossier City. He will be discussing many items including term limits for all elected city officials, a more transparent form of communication and increased interaction between community leaders and Bossier City residents.
