Sheriff’s office asks for public’s help in identifying road rage suspect


Bossier Sheriff’s detectives want the public to help identify a suspect in a road rage incident that happened about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The conflict began near the Jimmy Davis Bridge, continued to Barksdale Blvd., and then to the Red River Travel Plaza.

Witnesses are asked to contact the Bossier Sheriff’s Office a 318-965-2203 with information which could lead to the identification of the driver of a chalk-white car involved in this incident. The car is thought to be an older model, maybe 1998 – 2001, Toyota Corolla with damage to the left front bumper, and with rust on the left side of the hood and left front quarter panel.

The driver of the this car is said to be a white man in his 50s, approximately six feet, two inches tall, weighing about 280 pounds, with a white beard that extends a few inches below his chin. This man may have facial bruises and a cut on his left eyebrow from a fight.
